Congratulations, you have completed the tilr sign up process (see, it was easy!) and have been matched with your first job using tilr! Before your start, here are 4 tips to make sure that your first day is a success.
Check the ‘Jobs’ section in your app.
After you accept your opportunity, you’ll be able to see all of the necessary information about the job in the description. You will find the time, location, and any special instructions for the opportunity, such as uniform requirements. We suggest, before you leave to go to work, to make sure you know how long the commute will take you and knowing where you will need to meet your supervisor (listed under location).
Report to the correct person.
Knowing who you will report to on your first day is vital! This information can also be found in the description of the job on the app, under the ‘Jobs’ section. It is so important to make sure you identify the right person at the job site. Your supervisor will be able to answer any questions you may have and provide additional instructions. They will help you to develop and learn new skills on the job and provide helpful feedback when you complete the job.
Check in and out.
When you arrive, make sure that you check into the job via the app. This is so critical to remember. You will be sent a push notification to check in, but it may be helpful to set your own reminder . When you’ve finished the job, you will need to go back into the app and check out. When you check out, you have the chance to rate your day. Checking in and out on helps us track the hours you have worked, and allows us to ensure that you get paid without any delays.
Add your Bank Account Information.
Everyone’s favorite part – getting paid! To make sure there are no glitches in the payment process, double check that the bank information you entered is complete and correct. You can choose between two payment options: direct deposit or deposit to a prepaid debit card. If you forget to input your bank details, prior to starting your first shift, don’t fret! Payment is dispatched every Wednesday at noon ET and you should receive payment by Friday. As long as all of your payment details are input in full by Wednesday at noon (after you’ve worked) everything will transfer smoothly!
